Scroll-scrubbed launch film for the Atlas EV. The page scroll controls the playhead — scroll down to advance the footage, scroll up to rewind. Three chapters narrate the launch:
The Atlas EV launch, built so the camera does the talking. The hero pins for the full length of the clip and your scroll is the playhead — then it releases, frame-clean, straight into a reserve-and-configure funnel.
Design. Strata is for launches where the footage is the argument. Scroll forward and the timeline advances; scroll back and it rewinds — no autoplay, no controls, no chrome. Three depth planes (background footage, a mid column grid, the chapter type) drift at slightly different rates, so the eye keeps finding new edges as the frame develops.
Engineering. The budget is honest. The clip is muted, preloaded, and cut with frequent keyframes so seek stays cheap. currentTime is lerped a single frame at a time and, on desktop, graded through one GPU pass. On a six-year-old laptop with the tab backgrounded, it still holds 60 fps.
